Sally Meyer, PT

Sally, an Anamosa Alumni, graduated from Luther in 1995 and received her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa. She started Wapsi Physical Therapy in September of 2003 and her client list and business grew very quickly. As her business took off, Sally and her husband Jamie had their first baby, Emily and her brother Wes, joined the family 2 years later.

On the rare occasion that Sally is not in the office, she is at home helping on the farm, playing with her kids, or working on projects that given enough time, will get completed. In all she does, taking care of her patients is one of her top priorities.

Josiah Ertz, PT

Josiah got his doctoral degree in physical therapy at Clarke University in 2017. While at Clarke, he was exposed to the McKenzie technique for treating the spine and extremities at Clarke University and then furthered his experience while working under McKenzie trained therapists. His undergraduate studies included a baccalaureate degree in exercise science and movement at UNI. At UNI, he was involved in motor learning research, focusing on sport performance, which peaked his interest in using motor control to enhance athletic performance. When not in the clinic, he is likely outdoors spending time with his wife and 2 kids.

Denise Harmon-Whitmore, Office Manager

Denise came to Wapsi Physical Therapy in 2008, after spending 10 years driving back and forth from Cedar Rapids every day. She has enjoyed being in town and seeing several familiar faces come through the doors, and meeting new faces as well! Denise has been a friendly addition and smiles daily even while trying to figure out the world of insurance billing. When not at work Denise is busy being a mom to two girls and spending free time with her awesome group of friends and family.
